Join us in weekly chanted prayers to Arya Tara. Through developing a deep feeling of closeness to Buddha Tara, the female Buddha of swift compassion, we can receive her blessings and protection. You can also join us in a weekly Powa Ceremony for all those who have recently died. This ceremony is a special method for leading countless deceased beings to the Pure Land of a Buddha

Why Meditate?

Meditation enables you to unwind, relax, let go of worry and improve your overall sense of wellbeing. Through training in meditation it’s possible to gradually reduce and eliminate the negative states of mind that cause our unhappiness and replace them with positive, peaceful states.

What to Expect at a Class

Learn practical methods to solve the problems we face in daily life. Classes include two guided meditations and a teaching from one of our qualified teachers, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. Everybody is welcome. No experience is necessary.

About Us

The teachings given at our classes are grounded in the ancient wisdom of Buddha and have been practised by meditators for generations. Our teachings are presented in a format that is especially suited to the people of the modern world.
