Every living being has the same basic wish – to be happy and to avoid suffering. But how are we able to do this, when life can be so difficult at times? Can our problems, obstacles, fears and frustrations themselves be fuel for the growth and development of our happiness?
Buddha teaches that in order to change our world, we first have to change our minds. Contained within Buddha’s teachings is a special set of instructions called Lojong, or Training the Mind, which show us how to transform whatever circumstances we meet, whether good or bad, into opportunities for spiritual growth.
