This workshop will explore simple meditation techniques for developing and maintaining a calm, clear mind. These meditations help to increase mental peace, reduce stress and maintain clarity and focus.
Suggested age range: 11-16 years
Seating is in comfortable chairs or on the floor. You can just listen, or ask questions if you wish.
During the teens class, parents and guardians are very welcome to stay at the Centre to relax with a cuppa in the lounge. You are welcome to ask our Resident Teacher Kelsang Tara any questions you have about meditation or Buddhism should you wish to.
The Teachers
Paul and Lynn are experienced and dedicated Kadampa practitioners and teachers. They are both very approachable and friendly, and have a wealth of practical meditation experience to share.
