Do you love Buddha’s teachings and feel that you would like to understand them in greater depth? Regular study programs are a great way to take the next step in your spiritual development. We have two committed study programs you can join – Thursday night Foundation Program or Sunday afternoon Foundation Program (FP). On FP you will get to:
• Study Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books systematically, receive commentary to these texts and learn how to integrate them into your daily life.
• Receive regular teachings from Gen Kelsang Ani, our Resident Teacher who has over 15 years experience studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism.
• Actively participate in our spiritual community, connect with other practitioners and feel supported in your practice.
• Gain personal experience of the essential teachings of Kadampa Buddhism and make genuine progress on the path to liberation and enlightenment.
“I love FP because it gives me the opportunity to take the teachings to a more personal level.“ – Suzie (FP Student)
“I really enjoy FP because it allows me to practically experience the Buddhist path and integrate the teachings into my daily life to benefit those around me.” – Paul (FP Student)

Sunday Foundation Program
Sundays 1-5.30pm with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Ani
With classes resuming in February, the Sunday Foundation Program will commence studying The New Eight Steps to Happiness – The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness.
From the author Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso: ‘We need to transform whatever circumstances we meet, whether good or bad, into the spiritual path by channelling all our actions in a virtuous direction. This practice is extremely important. Those who engage in it successfully will never have to experience anxiety or discouragement but will be able to remain calm and peaceful in all circumstances.’
