The Power of Mantra and Mala-Making

A Meditation Half Day Course and Mala Making Workshop
Sat 22 Oct · 9.00am – 3.30pm · $90
Mantra means mind protection. For centuries, mantra recitation has been used to attain a peaceful and happy mind by pacifying the negative thoughts that give rise to our suffering. A mala is a string of beads used to count prayers or mantra recitations. For Buddhist practitioners, their mala is a very precious and meaningful object.

Spend the day learning about the power of mantra and the traditional technique of mala-making, and create your very own mala to take away with you.

The Teacher

The morning teaching of this workshop will be given by Resident Teacher Kelsang Tara.

The two mala-making sessions will be run by Buddhist teachers Colby Bayliss and Paul Perry.
