About this meditation workshop

We are alive, therefore we will die. This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, yet very few of us have really come to terms with this fact. In our modern society, death and dying are often shrouded in grief, confusion, and unhappiness, rather than being accepted as a normal part of life.

Buddha gave extensive teachings on the death process, and on how to use an awareness of our death to live a full and meaningful life. In this workshop you will learn what happens when we die according to Buddhist understanding, and discover how profoundly life-enhancing it is to come to terms with our own and others’ mortality.
