These retreats are suitable for study program students and those wishing to deepen their experience of formal practice.

Guru Yoga Mandala Offering
The practice of offering mandalas is one of the best ways to accumulate this merit and has been used by Buddhists for generations.
When offering a mandala we imagine we hold a pure universe in our hands which we offer to all the Buddhas while making a compassionate prayer that all beings enjoy such pure lands.

Refuge Retreat
The foundation of the Buddhist way of life is to go for refuge – to Buddha, to guide us along the spiritual path to enlightenment; to Dharma (Buddha’s teachings) to protect us from fear and suffering; and to Sangha (those practising Buddha’s teachings) to inspire us, show a good example and to help us along the path to inner peace.

Vajrasattva Retreat
A scientific method to purify our mind and to transform our mind from impure to pure using Tantric technology.

Guided Lamrim Retreat – The Path to Perfect Peace
The stages of the path to enlightenment, or Lamrim, are outlined in a sequence of 15 meditations designed to help us take the essence of all Buddha’s 84,000 teachings to heart.
Using the inspiring, heartfelt advice given by Buddhist master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in the book ‘The Mirror of Dharma with Additions’, this guided retreat will help you to improve your contemplative meditations and deepen your spiritual practice.

Retreat Sessions
Each session lasts for an hour and thirty minutes and consists of chanted prayers sung in English and a period of silence for contemplation and meditation. You can attend any or all of the sessions. If you haven’t been to the Centre before, it is suggested that you arrive 5-10 minutes early so someone can show you around.
