A Special Close Retreat ~ collecting 100,000 Venerable Geshe-la name mantras
The close retreat using the name mantra of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche will be held for the first time at KMC Perth in January 2026. This retreat functions as a Great Preliminary Guide of Guru Yoga.
Together we will offer our faith and draw closer and closer to our Root Guru. We will receive powerful blessings and insights, and create the causes never to be separated from Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka. The benefits of this retreat, both personally and for the flourishing of Kadam Dharma, are unsurpassed. The retreat will begin with a short introduction from Gen Kelsang Tara and conclude with Vajradaka burning offering.
Retreat Sessions
There will be four sessions each day as per the timetable below. It will be necessary to attend every day in order to complete the retreat, though if you can only participate in the retreat partially, you’re welcome to drop-in to any of the sessions.
There is no charge to attend for Centre Members, but there will be a small expense for Vajradaka burning offering materials. If you are interested in lunch and/or accommodation, please email admin@meditateinperth.org.
