Why Choose Kindness?

Sat 21 Nov · 9.30am – 1.00pm · $40
Why be kind? We may be cautious about being kind towards other people. We might fear that we will be taken advantage of and be exploited by them. This causes us to hold back from developing a genuine closeness and trust in other people. However, developing authentic loving kindness is one of the greatest secrets to a happy, fulfilling and meaningful life. There are many benefits that come from recognising the interconnectedness of each and every living being. In this course, we will contemplate and meditate on the many benefits of developing a warm heart and a feeling of being close to others and move our mind in the direction of deeply valuing the people in our life. In particular we will contemplate one powerful reason from Buddha’s teachings.  This reason is a special wisdom view that proves through logical analysis why we need to deepen our connection with each and every living being.
