These classes are provided as audio recordings and are intended for those who live in a remote area of Western Australia and are therefore unable to join the in-person class.

Correspondence Foundation Program
The Foundation Program (FP) by correspondence provides an opportunity to engage in systematic study and meditation on the essential subjects of Kadampa Buddhism based on six books by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. The emphasis in the classes, which consist of teachings, meditation, and discussion, is on gaining practical experience of Buddha’s teachings that you can apply to your daily life.
FP is a tried and tested way to gain a deeper understanding of the meaning of Buddha’s teachings, maintain a daily meditation practice that is both focused and powerful, and make genuine spiritual progress.
The in-person classes take place on Thursday evenings with scheduled breaks throughout the year. Recordings are supplied to enrolled correspondence students as MP3 audio files.
For more information about enrolling in FP by correspondence or to arrange to trial the program for up to three classes to see if it’s for you, please e-mail the Education Program Coordinator at education@meditateinperth.org.
