Remote Western Australia

These classes are provided online and are intended for those who live in a remote area of Western Australia and are therefore unable to join a live class.

In each class a different aspect of meditation and Buddhism is explained. The classes are self-contained so you can join in any week. Classes begin with a simple guided breathing meditation followed by a teaching and a second guided meditation based on the topic. No meditation experience is necessary, classes are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.

Kelsang Tara is a fully ordained Australian Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth.

Tara has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years, and ordained as a Buddhist nun in 2015. Tara’s inspiring teachings reflect her sincere wish to help those in need and to share her experience of Buddha’s life-changing instructions with others.

This class is held online on Monday evenings 7pm–8.15pm.
