Pure Happiness | Weekend Meditation Retreat

Fri 5 - Sun 7 Nov · Serpentine Retreat Centre

The magical practice of taking suffering & giving happiness in Serpentine.

About the Retreat

This retreat presents a special opportunity to immerse ourself in meditation and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the company of like-minded people. Starting with a welcoming introduction on Friday evening and finishing with lunch on Sunday, the weekend will include teachings as well as plenty of time for meditation and relaxation.

Retreat Topic

The practice of taking suffering and giving happiness is a supreme meditative method for increasing our concentration and the causes of pure happiness within our mind.
By engaging in these meditations, we purify our negative states of mind, especially our self-cherishing, and make our love and compassion
very strong. We will also develop an unshakeable inner strength that can bear whatever adversity life throws at us with courage.
The retreat starts with supper at 6pm on Friday and finishes with lunch on Sunday.

The Teacher

The Teacher | Kelsang Tara is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth.

Tara’s inspiring teachings reflect her sincere wish to  help those in need and to share her experience of Buddha’s life-changing instructions with others.
