Dealing with Grief and Loss

A Meditation Half Day Workshop
Sat 20 July · 9.30am – 1.15pm · $50
Although losing the people we love and dealing with unwanted changes is part of life, these things cause us great pain and emotional upheaval. We don’t realise just how dependent we are on the people and things of our life until we lose them.

Buddha taught that loss and change are as natural as the changing seasons, and by increasing our wisdom and compassion we can transform times of grief and sadness into wise insights and inner peace. In this workshop we will develop this special perspective which makes us strong in the face of adversity.

The Teacher

The teacher of this workshop is Buddhist nun Kelsang Nampur. Nampur has been a practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. She is known for her light, clear and practical presentation of Buddha’s teachings, delivered with warmth and humour.
