Bye Bye Painful Feelings

Feelings, what are they? And why are we so governed by them? We experience so many different feelings and emotions throughout our day and throughout life that influence our decisions and everything we say think and do. Sometimes they are pleasant, sometimes they are unpleasant. Experiencing life as being on rollercoaster, full of up’s and down’s is an indication that our feelings are in control of us.
In this course we will learn how to overcome this inner turbulence by developing the peace and stability that comes from a controlled mind. Through this we will become someone with inner strength who is always balanced and not affected by the extremes of excitement and despondency. Inparticular, we will explore the true nature of feeling within the context of Buddha’s teachings on wisdom.

The Teacher
The Teacher of this course is Kelsang Lamchog.
Kelsang Lamchog has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for many years. Her teachings are heartfelt, inspiring and extremely practical, making it easy for students to apply the instructions in daily life. Lamchog is the Education Program Coordinator at Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth.
