About the Retreat

This retreat presents a special opportunity to immerse ourself in meditation and enjoy a relaxing weekend in the company of like-minded people. Starting with a welcoming introduction on Friday evening and finishing with lunch on Sunday, the weekend will include teachings as well as plenty of time for meditation and relaxation.

Retreat Topic

During this retreat, Gen Kelsang Ani will guide a series of meditations that will enable you to develop a clear mind, pacify busy thoughts and access the purity and clarity that naturally arises when your mind become still.

This retreat provides an excellent introduction to meditation and is a perfect break for those with a busy life. 

The Teacher

The Teacher of this retreat is Gen Kelsang Ani, the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Centre Perth in East Fremantle. She has been studying and practising modern Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 15 years. Ani teaches with warmth and compassion, making modern Buddhism accessible and applicable to all.
