Our courses at the Centre are packed with practical wisdom and include the opportunity to receive teachings from a qualified teacher and to contemplate and meditate on these instructions.

About this special event
We see so many problems in the world nowadays, with people experiencing profound difficulties, immense physical suffering and mental pain. It’s easy to feel powerless in the face of such seemingly insurmountable problems. We often wonder: what can we as meditators and followers of Buddhist teachings do to help with these problems?
The advice of Buddhist Master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche is that our job is to pray, as this is the best method to benefit others.
In this special event we will learn the nature of prayer, how to make our prayers powerful and effective, and how to unite prayer with our busy daily life. We will then engage in the Prayers for World Peace practice together, directing our good hearts to the cessation of all suffering throughout the world.
